The evening of Onbadhula Guru could be the best moment for PT Selvakumar, PRO-Producer-turned-Filmmaker making his debut directorial with this film. The audio launch of this film was held at Devi Cinemas that was attended by many personalities of the film industry.
While speaking on the occasion, many artists started their speech saying that they would like to commence in the praises of Ilayathalapathy Vijay. Whenever someone praised the actor, he immediately pointed his direction to Powerstar Dr Srinivasan saying that he is the real hero. Power Star on his turn mentioned that he accepted to pick up the offer of performing a song only for the reason that PT Selvakumar is the PR Manager of Vijay.

Now, the actor has been roped in by debutant director Selvakumar to be a part of the opening song, in his upcoming film Onbadhula Guru. The film features Vinay, Lakshmi Rai and Anjali in the lead roles, while Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash, Sathyan and Jagan will be seen playing important roles. Music has been composed by K. Confirming the news, the director said."We had wrapped up the film and were even ready with the first copy. But the team felt that we needed to incorporate the opening song that K had composed for us. So, I asked Lakshmi and the film's heroes to spare a day to shoot the number. We asked Power Star if he can also be part of the song and he agreed. We shot the sequence in a set in the city a few days ago. The number, 'Alaiyadhe Summa...', will be a peppy one and will set the tone for the film." The audio launch is all set to happen today evening in Chennai, with Vijay honoring the event as the Chief Guest. It looks like Powerstar Dr. Srinivasan is the current toast of K-town with cameos, guest appearances, and item numbers, all falling into place for him!
