Kanna Laddu... becomes a rage online

With the release of Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiyya scheduled for January, eager movie watchers and fans of lead actors Santhanam, Power Star Srinivasan, Sethu and Vishakha have greeted the online uploads and social media pages of the film with much frenzy.

The film's social media campaign on Facebook and Twitter was started on Diwali. The first look images of the stars, along with the first teaser of the film, was unveiled on Diwali on Facebook, Twitter and You Tube. The teaser generated over 1 lakh views in a very short span of time and was being featured on the homepage of You Tube in just about four days of being uploaded.

The theatrical trailer of the film, which was uploaded one week ago, has totally surpassed that. In a period of less than 12 hours, the trailer crossed the one lakh view mark. It was 'Trending" on You Tube in just one day of upload and You Tube gave placement to the trailer on the homepage as the main Featured Video.

In a week of upload, the trailer has crossed 4,40,000 views and growing each day in the number of views.

The film's social media pages are also showing a large amount of activity, and a steep rise in the number of "Likes" and "Followers" on a regular basis. The Facebook and Twitter pages are being populated with exciting behind the scenes and shoot images of the film, in addition to interesting information around the film. The number of Likes on Facebook have already crossed the 50,000 mark.

The team of the film is humbled by this response and thank all fans for this show of love and support. "With lots more exclusive and exciting content still to be uploaded we are eager to see how our fans respond in the Online space going forward," says Takesh Singh, Founder of T Junction Media, which is handling the Digital Marketing and Social Media campaign for the film.
